Built for the kids that come after.
Squatch Washing started just after my first child was born. The goal was simple and selfish at the same time — build something I could take my kid along to, learn what it actually takes to grow a business worth keeping, and pass that down when the time comes.
The name came from a camping trip, where the line between civilization and wilderness started to feel like something worth tending to. The Sasquatch — half-known, half-myth — felt right. A creature that lives where the city meets the trees. Someone who keeps both sides in good order.
When your home is clean — really clean, peak to street — something settles. Life feels a little less heavy. We've all felt the difference between a tidy room and a cluttered one. Squatch just brings that same feeling to the outside of your house.
"If being whole means putting things where they belong, then maybe cleaning a home is its own small way of helping someone feel more at home in it."
